Are you needing renewed motivation and focus in your transition to a more resilient lifeway? Are you curious about how our family lives at home with little reliance on civilisation’s industrial machine? Do you feel economically trapped? Do you sense economic and political troubles ahead and want to better future-proof your household? Are you wanting to live with less debt and more relationship with the living of the world? Are you wanting to say, Fuck off! to all the con men and women (the captains of industries) in the very way that you live, and do this positively? Do you want to embody your politics and values and thus dance your talk? Do you want to learn simple hacks for living with less money and more time? If one or more of these questions resonates, then our all-day house and garden tour might well be for you.

Over the day we will cover self and community care,

re-commoning,

annual vegetables cultivation,

annual vegetable food harvesting,

fermenting

and storing the harvests,

alchemising all manners of substances from one thing

into another,

tending perennial food biomes,

making humus,

changing behaviours,

cultivating eldership,

and generally establishing and maintaining a belonging economy.

I will be away on the day you are having this day. I would like to register my interest in another day of this style of workshop. Thank you for doing what you are doing, living as you are and sharing your gifts. Very inspiring.
Thanks Kerren! We’ll post all future tours, courses and workshops here. Thanks for your interest and warmth.
Ouph yes! I’m quite preggo at the moment but I’ll see if I can leave the toddler in the Strathbogies and plod on over to your patch of magical-ness in my sadly gas guzzling contraption of transportation <3
You would be most welcome, Rebekah.
Hi Patrick and Meg, unfortunately I am very far away exactly in the other side of the world in Portugal. I would love to go on this tour, and it will be perfect as a birthday gift for my oldest daughter because she makes 10 in that day. Well, that’s not a possibility anyway. I wonder if you plan to make a kind of online tour session someday? Thanks, again, for your pleasant inspiration. Tiago
Thanks Tiago, we think it’s a good time to do an online tour but it’s low on our priorities list right now, sadly. There is a feature film coming out by Happen Films in 2025 (watch the teaser here) that could well double as such an online resource. Although a nuts and bolts virtual tour may also be worthwhile.
Big happy birthday to your eldest daughter on the 17th. ❤️
Oh how I wish I could be there!!! Wishing you a great day and lots of attendees. Hugs from the Northeast USA.
Thanks PermaGrannie, wishing you and your neighbourhood peace and love in the coming election days.
Sounds absolutely amazing!!
If you ever did an online tour, or course I’d be super keen.
Thanks Jade, we’re hearing this.
Same here, for sure!
